          In Scandinavia, size matters when it comes to waterfalls, fjords, and North Sea oil platforms. Slum-free glass cities encircle wonderfully walkable medieval city centers. Stone-age drawings, modern painting and sculpture, Viking long ships, stories of Nazi resistance (and collaboration), and two sites of Nobel Prize presentations compete for our attention.
