    In Devonport, just two minutes drive from Waitemata G.C. Devonport is 15-minutes by frequent cross-harbor ferry from downtown AUCKLAND.

OTHER GOLF IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA: Several other courses are located in the Auckland region, including Gulf Harbour, Titarangi, Muriwai, and Formosa.

THE REGION:
        Devonport is a gentile Victorian village on the north shore peninsula across the Waitemata Harbour from downtown Auckland. Its main street is lined with upscale shops, cafιs, galleries, bistros, and eclectic museums. Its waterfront park and local beaches invite walkers and bathers. Longer walks around Devonport lead to two dormant mini-volcano cones, one with preserved coastal defenses that may be visited.
        Devonport village provides excellent access to all the attractions of downtown Auckland without any of the congestion, traffic, and parking difficulties of being in the city center. Frequent cross-harbor ferry services connect Devonport with central Auckland in 15 minutes. Other ferry services from Devonport sail to several fascinating islands in the Hauraki Gulf, including Waiheke Island, notable for its wineries, and arts & crafts galleries.
