For destinations that have no entry restrictions for visitors, we confirm that we have been counseled to be fully aware of the potential health and safety risks associated with independent international travel, and have made our individual, personal decisions for which we are responsible. And, while Home At First may provide advice and/or assistance before or during our travels, we recognize that the ultimate responsibility for our choices and any costs they incur is ours.

We have read and we understand the provisions of Home At First's Cancellation Policy and Home At First's recommendation that we purchase Travel Insurance to cover at least against potential trip cancellations and/or trip interruptions as detailed here: https://homeatfirst.com/home/essentials/#Cancellations. Further, we acknowledge that if we elect not to purchase travel insurance, we assume the risk for any losses and/or costs that we may incur by cancelling our trip or having our ongoing trip interrupted. And, while Home At First may provide advice and/or assistance in the event we cancel our trip or in the event our trip is interrupted, we recognize that the ultimate responsibility for our choices and any costs they incur is ours. IMPORTANT: if you purchased a non-refundable trip from Home At First, once your completed registration form and initial payment is received by Home At First, cancelling your trip makes you vulnerable for loss of all moneys paid unless you have purchased trip cancellation insurance. Moreover, any refunds calculated/offered by Home At First are made at the sole discretion of Home At First and are made on a case-by-case basis.
